Real dialogue is more than just talking\u2014it\u2019s a way of communicating that builds understanding, trust, and connection. Whether you\u2019re preparing for mediation, navigating conflict, or simply aiming to have more meaningful conversations, this module offers a practical and engaging introduction to the art of true dialogue.<\/p>\n

In this module, learners will explore what dialogue really means and how it differs from debate, arguing, or trying to “win” a conversation. Through clear explanations and hands-on exercises, you\u2019ll practise five essential dialogue principles: listening, openness, respect, curiosity, and reflection<\/strong>. These skills help you express your own ideas honestly while staying genuinely open to others.<\/p>\n

Module 3 also guides learners in balancing speaking and listening\u2014an essential skill in any collaborative or emotionally charged setting. You\u2019ll finish the course by creating a short dialogue session on a topic you care about, giving you a chance to apply what you\u2019ve learned in a realistic way.<\/p>\n

This module builds on the communication foundations introduced in Module 2 and prepares you for upcoming topics such as conflict, emotions, and mediation.<\/p>\n
